San-Pedro dates back to the year 1542, and is located just south of Los Angeles. This city has breathtaking views of the ocean from its location atop the cliffs and bluffs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. With one of the busiest ports on the West Coast, San Pedro is also home to the state’s largest privately owned diving and fishing fleets. You can take half day or full day sport fishing, scuba/snorkeling or charter boat trips. Regular whale watching excursions are also available during the season.

There is a very nice walking path along the harbor available for those who wish to hike, jog, or stroll along the oceanfront. There is an abundance of things to see and do in the area, starting with Cabrillo Beach. This mile-long beach is perfect for swimming, surfing, scuba diving and volleyball. You can rent a jet ski or go wind surfing, or fish off the pier. Picnic tables, a snack bar and a children’s playground is available on the beach.
