Rancho Palos Verdes to post signs banning dogs on beach

In the wake of a decision to cancel plans for a dog beach, Rancho Palos Verdes officials said Wednesday that they will post “No Dogs Beyond This Point” signs at the beach sand line at the bottom of the access trail.

Council members voted 4-1 Tuesday night to rescind their February approval to move forward with a pilot program allowing dogs to run off-leash on a 5-acre stretch of rocky beach below the cliffs at Trump National Golf Club. Read more……
