Convenient, Artsy, Beach Living!
In Southern California, we love our beaches, but our community is far greater than that. The downtown arts district hosts a weekly farmers’ market, and First Thursday art-walks every month. Art and creativity are very important to the culture of San Pedro, which opens up opportunities for its residents to enjoy art galleries, artisanal shops, and local theatre like that of Shakespeare by the Sea and the Warner Grand Theatre.
Located on the east side of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, La Corona Del Mar and their apartments for rent in San Pedro are close to all the port employment centers. Five minutes from the Harbor 110 freeway and within walking distance from local bus lines makes getting to Long Beach, Orange County, the Westside, LAX and Downtown Los Angeles a breeze.
Just down the road is Cabrillo Beach and Cabrillo Marina where you can enjoy sailing, kayaking, windsurfing take a lazy stroll along the beach or explore the marine life at the interactive aquarium. Across the street are the manicured parade grounds of the historic Fort MacArthur Military Reservation.
